Turn mac on, get white screen, have to turn on/off for ages

Have to spend at least 45 mins-1hr switching mac on and off to get past the white screen to the apple symbol and spinning cog, this then takes it 15-20 mins to get to the desktop. This happens everytime i switch it off or put into sleep

Candy GCC 590NB. Dryer won't run for more than 30 minutes?

Question edited for clarity.

Unlikely to be the control switch and more likely the Humidistat Control Sensor that decides if the clothes are dry or not.

It is a very complicated dryer.

White screen after about 20 minutes of operation

key words above, (change(d) PC) did you mean you changed out the PC, and it fails, I will guess yes) as in past tense?

old old , 1710s, most are now dead, you know that right?
all have CCFL tubes in it.(problematic for sure)
and had a sleep mode inside, (problem 2) sure.

so with PC turned on, the push the menu key
and turn off the sleep timer, keep it off for ever.
it is not compatible with NEWER PCs at all.

the Monitor is bad,

if cable and pc are ok, the monitor is bad.
you proved that, if change = changed. above.

like this. (GO LED !) avoid all monitors older than year 2010 !

Very slow

Might be a bad circuit breaker. The manual makes no mention of slow baking. That must be an electrical problem. Diagnostics start on page 67 or thereabouts. Let me know what you find out using this guide. Yeah I know it ain't the exact manual but it's free. LOL

Screen goes black after 30 mins of working.

There are a few things you need to check here.
1. It could be that your computer power management is set to turn your monitor and harddrive off after 30 to 45 min.

If the computer is however working for 30 to 45 min while you doing stuff and it shuts off, the there is an internal problem "Hardware"

I would suggest you check to see if the power management is set to turn off monitor 30 min and harddrive after 45 min. IF that is not so, then we go on to the next test.

It could possibly be your processor fan is not working so once your processor gets over heated it shuts off the computer.

Turn off the computer, remove the case "this is only if you know what you are doing" with the case off, power on the computer and see if the processor fan is working.

You can get back to me and I can walk you through it.

Hope thiss help.

Completely white/gray screen

First try this: shut it down, disconnect the power cord, pull out the battery, then hold the power button for a full 10 seconds. Reinstall the battery, reattach the power cord, turn it back on.
Still doing it? Put the reboot disk that your Mac came with, or the disk to the version of Mac OS X that you're running.
To start from disk hold "C" as your Mac is first turning on from a complete shutdown.
