Your phone had a network ic i think it is the culprit here replace it with new one

If the sim card works on other phone , it means to say the problem lies on the phone.

Check the sim card slot and try to check for any dust.
You may want to check if the sim card is properly place or inserted.
If in case still doesnt work try to use other sim card, if still the same thing bring to mobile technician.

Hi,when a phone keeps saying insert Sim card, is either the Sim card has problem or the Sim tray of the phone is bad and will need tobe replaced.

To confirm, Take the Sim card and insert it into another phone, If it still says insert Sim, that means the Sim card is bad, But if the Sim card works with another phone, That means the Sim tray of the phone is damaged.

Sim tray is located on the phone where you insert your Sim card in on the phone to make sure the Sim works with the phone.

Try inserting another sim card, if it doesn't boot up, then there's problem with the Handset. Clean the sim car interface and see if there's any twisted or tampered pins/interfaces, if so, try to straighten or else let the technician of the repairing do it for you.. good luck..

Sounds like phone is locked or firmware is bad

no sim card error is not virtual error from service providers, its due to your phone hardware problem. if your sim was not working due to service provider it will show your card registration failed. but you are getting sim card not inserted means your sim card contacts are not touching the phone sim contacts. try to refix your sim card properly. then try to reboot your phone.
