SOURCE: Getting a message that there's a system error when I plug my old magic jack back in after having had magic jack plus downloaded/installed, how do I get the system error fixed or identified?

You should clean your computer from the effects of programs and browsers and then close the device and then open a new site

How do we get the phone to work, we are registered and received confirmation that our current phone number could be transferred, but should we call our current carrier.

Hi,

I had a similar issue when changing suppliers in the UK. I had to get a PAC code from my old supplier to give to my new one so they could transfer my number over to them. I then discovered that my phone had been locked to my old supplier (the manufacturers auto lock some phones to the first network you use on the handset). Check your phone for a "network locked" message. I used an online unlock site which cost £7.90 and my phone was unlocked within 30mins. The old supplier took 9 days to send me an unlock code. I hope this helps.

Magicjack problems

Try another telephone as the magic jack device only provides a certain level of voltage output which does not supply enough power for a dial tone and power to older telephones. There are work arounds provided within the magic jack forum blogs which can be found by visiting this website, found on google.

I have magic jack and am trying to use it for a medical device because I have a pacemaker and defibulater and it need to be monertered by a LATITUDE COMMUNICATOR.Can magic jack be used for the LATITUDE...

I have and use Magic Jack too..Does your Latitude Communicator just plug right into a phone jack with a regular phone cord? If it does, then it should work...You will have to always leave your laptop on and never turn it off because Magic Jack requires a constant connection...Plug your equipment into the back of your Magic Jack and then with another phone, call the company that monitors your pacemaker/defibulator and ask them to "test" your line to see if you will receive a signal from them through your Magic Jack...You will to have to plug it all in and then test or you won't ever know...When I plug my home phone into the back of my Magic Jack, I receive a dial tone just like it was connected to a home based landline phone
