Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I have a Toshiba laptop and I have a ConfigFree. In the control panel I have "Bluetooth Local COM" . When I click on that a box shows up that says:
"Existing COM ports: COM 3 TOSHIBA Software Modem System"
Do I have the ablility to use a Bluetooth device with my computer?
How do i find bluetooth in my laptop

Yes, you can use bluetooth mobile devices. COM 3 os the port that the bluetooth uses to connect to a device. You can think of it like a wireless modem. You can also configure other COM ports for communication with bluetooth devices using the connection wizard. I would suggest not to do this unless you know what you doing. From my experiences with bluetooth devices they can b a little touchy, and you have to careful you don't want to pick a port that another program is already using. ConfigFree is capable of configuring this bluetooth connection, but there are also other programs out there that you can use as well.
