Here is a link to the Manual for this Remote. I was going to post it here, but they seem to not allow attachments.

It seems to provide everything you need.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck.

The MX-500 has a learning mode that you can use. Press MAIN and ENT together for 3 seconds, then press the P-PRO button. Select the device then button you wish to program on your remote and then with both remotes facing each other (IR ports must be able to communicate) press the button on your other remote.

UMC 19" TV/DVD Combo

Look at the web site where they list all of the universal codes for One for All (which should be the same as most Universal Remotes) If the code listed there does not work, contact the manufacturer of your Universal Remote to ask if there is a way to upgrade the Remote to include the latest codes. Tell them the code you have been given by UMC and has been tested to work in the new One for All remotes. If still no joy, get a universal remote with Learning Function.

Learning eye

The remote can be programmed with any other remote control. You place the remote control you want the universal remote to learn from in front of the learning eye and hit the correct key combination to teach it the codes for your particular remote. There are no remote codes because none are needed. It learns straight from the original remote. No compatibility problems. Hope that helps.
