I have the same problem and an SD card BUT I've been using the same phone and same card for 6 months now and it JUST started happening. I have to do the same thing... take out the battery and replace it in order for it to turn back on.
It sure doesn't make me a happy camper to find that this is a common problem. My cell is my life line... if its randomly turning off, I'll be missing work calls way too much.
Any solutions from anyone yet?!?
Hi,
Yeah, the orange TV icon can be annoying, but it is nothing more than the phone notifying you that it can receive the signal required to access the AT&T TV feature. My phone didn't start displaying the icon until I accidentally opened up the TV application.
I have the same issue with my memory card and after browsing LG's site it seems like they're suggesting only SanDisk memory cards work well with the phone. My memory card is a Kingston. Although I've never seen a device that's specific to brand, this is what they seem to be suggesting here:

Hope I could help.
Yeap. in a second.

Another thing to add... is that I also have that annoying orange TV icon showing up now... and I never used to. Could there be a correlation between that and the random power loss?
