Question about Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3

1 Answer

Paper won't feed into printer

The feed wheel for the printer turns but the paper wont feed. Holder is full with a new pack of paper from Kodak, wheel has been cleaned. Almost seems that the paper hits a solid object in the printer instead of going into slot it should. I cant even guide it in when wheel is turning.

Make sure the paper doesn't have a curve in it. Also, fan the pages to make sure they aren't sticking together. Load shiny side up. Try taking about 10 sheets out

Won't load paper

Clean the paper feed with alcohol and a paper towel by rubbing and rotating the drum. Wait for it to dry completely then it should grab the paper. Also make sure paper is free from dust. Good luck!

1) paper won't feed through. 2) Constantly saying paper jam

If it is a laserprinter, your paper can be too dry or humid. Try a new pack of paper. Or turn the paper that is in your tray upside-down.

The paper deck is full but wont print. display reads "no paper feed"

The paper feed wheel (located in the front just inside where the paper tray goes) could be missing, broken, or the clutch that drives it could be bad. I'm not sure this will work but try to look at the wheel with the tray removed, and print a page, see if it rolls.

Easy share printer dock 3 paper roller soes not turn to feed paper in. It sounds like it wants to turn but nothing happens

Fan you paper to get a little air into the stack..Also, don't put more than 25 in at a time. It packs them in too tight for the rollers to pull them through.

My Kodak ESP5 keeps saying "Paper Jam please remove paper jam" But there is no paper in it?

My esp 5 gave me this same message. I'm not an expert but here is what worked for me.

I turned off and disconnected both cables (usb and power) then reconnected and turned on.
At this point it still read paper jam, so I took ink cartridges out and paper out.
I then reinstalled ink cartridges and PULLED OUT THE PAPER TRAY to it's FULL capacity, added about 5 sheets of paper, and on the main menu I chose the allignment function and printed a test page and suddenly....no jam!
Hope this works for someone. For some reason pulling the tray all the way out cleared the "jam" message for me. Now if I could just get the new ink cart to work I'd be all set! Good Luck!
