EnV music problem...not all music is "seen"

I have songs on my memory card, but the phone only recognizes 26 out of about 60 on the card. I can't figure out what is different from song to song. They are all unprotected mp3 files. Any ideas??

Yeah I had that same problem, make the song name significantly shorter. I noticed that the long named songs didn't work and that the short ones did. So I shorted the file name and they worked.
Hope that solves your problems as well.

The music in my motorola rival isn't being recognized

I found out a couple things on this. 1) try their web site, it helps. 2) you need 3 folders on your micro sd a) my_music b) my_pix c) my_flix. Their web page has the WRONG use the ones above. Drag and drop the MP3's directly into this folder - DO NO PUT ALBUM FOLDERS in there, it doesn't work.

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Phone not reading music on LG enV from memory card....

i had the same problem with my original "the v" you may want to check the file type. If you have wma files, you should try converting them to mp3 or vice versa. research to see what file types your phone supports. I had to take mine into the verizon store to have them update the software on my phone to be able to play mp3 files.

I just bought a memory card for my LG EnV & it came with two adapters. how do you put music from your computer onto your EnV?

You can use it in a printer that takes memory cards but you cannot download a lot of songs that way. The best thing to do is buy a music essentials kit. If you have a 512 mb card, you can get at least 100 songs.

Env phone

The easiest way to get music on phone is to sync it with windows media player, you will need music kit from service provider, otherwise tmusic needs to be mp3, or wma format, and 128k compression it also needs to be put on card in correct folder

Phone problem

I struggled with this for most of 2 days and then realized it only recognizes MP3 files, not WMA or others. Once I re-ripped CDs into mp3 and loaded them, it worked fine. Have no idea on ring tones, but believe it will not move music to ring tones within the phone itself.

LG EnV vx9900 won't transfer pictures using usb cable

Since no one has answered this yet and I found a solution, I minus well help the people out there. This is how I do it:
1) go to menu
2) go to tools
3) go to USB Mass Storage
This will allow your computer to recognize your phone/card and will open it. I highly recommend transferring all your photos and video to your card instead of your phone memory. This is how you transfer it from your phone to your card:
1) go to menu
2) go to settings
3) go to memory
from here you can gain access to what is on your phone memory and your card memory. From this you can edit where you want to save your pics/videos/sounds to (either phone or card memory) and transfer your media files from your phone to your card or vise versa.

Good luck and I hope this helped you all.
