Question about Windchaser Dryers

Open Question

My Windchaser FTR 1603 is broke from its pedestal. It broke from the pedestal. Motor is great. Is there anyway I can get the stand part with has the screw thread which goes into the pedestal. I called windchaser and was told that they are out of parts as this is a very old model. I shall appreciate if there is any way to fix it. I don't want to throw away the fan, as it is in mint condition. Thanks

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Model number not listed

That is a good question. My Model FTR184 Windchaser fan is not working either (has standby light on, and doesn't run, even when temperature setpoint is reduced to less than room temperature (in the PS - personal settings - mode), and more frustratingly, even in the FAN mode, where there is not supposed to be a Standby mode. That darned red Standby LED light just stays on no matter what mode I have fan in (though it does go off when I operate the Power on/off switch to turn everything off. So, I agree with Lease. Why isn't our fan model listed? And, of course, what is wrong with mine.

Where can I get a part for my Windchaser 16" osilating stand fan, model IVS182. It stopped osilating and needs the small part that helps it osilate. Don't know what it is called.

Check with the manufacturer, they should be able to get you the replacement part. Maybe they show a diagram online with names of parts that can help you name it, so they can send you one.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Fan blade will not turn but can hear motor

I hate to give you bad news but the brushes are worn and motor will not spin anymore. Fan is a good parts donor.
