What is rating of Spin 50 Power Module. Lost mine

Should it be a power supply that outputs AC and converts to DC inside the speaker case, or is it a wall adapter the outputs DC straight to the built in amplifier?
Some speakers have the voltage and polarity for the plug on the back of the speaker where the power lead plugs in. As they are only small speakers of probably a couple of watts it may only need about 2 Amps or less. Higher current is fine as the amp will only use what it needs to work correctly but I would'nt go below 2 Amps.

There are three wires coming out of one of the speakers. One is connecting the speakers, one is green and plugs into the computer, and the third one is a short wire that I can't figure out where it goes....

Normally there will also be a wire that goes to a power supply / adapter.

You are probably missing the the part that plugs into the electrical wall outlet.
The third wire coming from one of the speakers will likely fit into a port on that power supply adapter. Just find the power adapter that goes with it and plug them in and they should work.

The speakers need a power supply in order to drive the amplifier circuit which makes them louder.

See the image at the following link to see an example of a complete system with power supply:

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the image at the website indicated.

Good luck.

Our speakers worked at old business location, since we've moved they don't. one is plugged into the other and then plugged into the CPU. however when turn volume on actual speaker there is no light lit...

Yes there is. You will need to find the power adapter that went with them. It will usually be a small brick like adapter that has a cable coming off of the end of it that will only fit in your speakers.

Good luck!

How to connect mixer to a crown power base 2 amp and speakers

just use the main left and right outputs of the behringer to run xlr (3 prong balanced) to 1/4 inch (looks like a big headphone plug) cables into the inputs of the crown amp. the mixer has the xlr outputs and the amp has 1/4 inch inputrs, sop the cables will have to reflect that on both ends. run the outputs of the amp (rca outputs, i believe, you may have to get a rca plug to 1/4 inch jack adapter, and then use a 1/4 inch speaker cable) to the inputs of the speakers, again, the amp has rca outputs and the speakers will likely have 1/4 inputs, so you will have to address that wil an adapter. have each speaker in its own channel.

DELL SPEAKER SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING

Suggest you abandon the mini-phone jack connection - sounds like a wire is broken in that connector. Use the RCA stereo outputs from your TV into the Dell surround system. You may need a couple of adapter cables to make that work. Take photos of the connectors on the back of your TV and on the back of the Dell Surround system. Take those to an electronics store like Best Buy and ask for help there to get the cables you need (telling them that the mini-phone (headphone) plug is giving you trouble.

I have a 92 ford probe and im trying to install a

Have you removed the original connector from you original stereo? If you still have the original connector in place you can get a new connector from the Ford dealer that will plug into your existing wiring and into your new deck. Ford connections are unique to Ford and you need to adapt them for this application.

Take the car and deck to the dealer and tell them what you need. Everything just plugs in and your original amp and speakers in the car will work.

Having said that there was an adapter available at Wal Mart of all places that did work. You may want to check there.

If you have removed the original connector then you need a wiring diagram.

1992 Ford Probe Car Stereo Radio Wiring Diagram
Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/Red
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Blue/White
Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Radio Illumination Wire: Light Green/Black
Radio Dimmer Wire: N/A
Radio Power Antenna Trigger Wire: White
Radio Amplifier Turn On Trigger Wire: N/A
Front Speakers Size: 6 1/2′
Front Speakers Location: Doors
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Orange
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Blue/Black
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Blue
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Blue/Green
Rear Speakers Size: 6 1/2′
Rear Speakers Location: Side Panels
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Green/Orange
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Green/Red
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Green/Blue
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Green

The amp is located under the rear passenger side window. You need to remove the plastic side wall to expose it if you need access there. You can trace the wiring if needed.

Under the front bottom edge of the rear seat are clips holding the seat in place. Open the clips and the seat lifts off. You can then get to the amp as needed.

Facing problem-(WAP54G)

Try the following steps:

1. Disconnect the WAP54G power adapter.

2. Reinsert the power adapter directly into the wall socket.

3.Remove any power strips or surge protectors temporarily to ensure that these items are not preventing the WAP54G proper operation.Note: Make sure that you are using the power adapter that came with your WAP54G.

4. Plug the power adapter into a different wall socket in another room.

5. Press and hold the reset button for 1 minute. Release the button. Then turn off the WAP54G for another minute. Then turn it back on.

6. If the power light is still red, then you will need to replace the WAP54G.

I have a old set of IBM computer speakers that need a 12v DC input for power. Is there a power adapter that I can get to make them work?

There are 12 volt adapters in electronic shops, make sure the connector that plugs into the speakers are the correct polarity and have a current output of 1 amp (this should be sufficient if the speakers are small).
