Question about Raymarine C120 System Pack C120 Raystar 125 Dsm300

My C120 will not shut down using the red power off button

During the start up of my C120, I pushed OK to clear the onscreen message. The navigation page came on briefly, then the screen changed to the product description page, " Raymarine multifunction Navigational Display" The screen intermittenly blinks on and off as if trying to reset, but continually returns to the product description screen. I cannot shut it down using the red power off button( 1,2,3,countdown) I can only shut it off using the breaker switch. When I turn breaker back on, the C120 beeps and comes on without pushing power on button, and displayes the same description page. I cannot get it to reset and it does not respond to any of the functions buttons. Power supply to unit seems OK.

When you turn on the breaker switch push the nearest grey button to the powerbutton than you get a factoryrest your software shoud be 4.29

Changing message on answer machine KX-TG6521


From your handset, press Menu then # 3 0 2 (or navigate the screens). Use the up/down arrows to select Yes and press OK. After the beep, hold the handset about 20 cm away from you and speak clearly into the microphone. Press Stop to end the message. (If the message is more than 2 1/2 minutes long, the phone will stop recording automatically.) Press the Off/Power button to exit.

Follow the below steps on the front panel of the All-in-One printer:
A. - Press and Hold the "Print Photos" & "Red Eye Removal" buttons. Release both buttons.

Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"
B. - Press and release in sequence "Red Eye Removal", "Print Photos", "Red Eye Removal"
(try both and see which one will get you to system config menu )

2. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration

0xc18a0001 Error. I've tried several recommended procedures from your site....no luck. Any help would be appreciated


Solution 1
1. Press and hold "left arrow" key
2. Press the "setup" key and release both keys

  6. Press the On button to turn the printer on.
  7. Install the ink cartridges when prompted.

My printer reads unable to clean and will not work

You need to clear the ink waste counter and clear the purge counter. Please see procedure below:

- pull out the AC plug
- put back the AC plug while holding down the "menu" button and keep holding it (15 sec)
- now you are entering the MAINTENANCE mode and "error 46" pops up in the display
- select 8 by using the arrow buttons ,push OK and select 0 and push OK
- 00:00 OK (the display is showing this message)
- now push the START button 25 times until you see PURGE: xxxxx
- Press 2783
- the purge counter indicates now: purge: 00000
- switch off the printer ,switch it on

Just reset the picture adjustments and se whether the colour comes up or not. If not, autotune it once more.

Reset resets all picture adjustments (tint, color, picture, bright, detail, color temperature, dig.
noise clear, Color Management and Dynamic Gamma) at once to the default settings.

Press the MENU button

To RESET

Use [up-down-prog up-prog dn buttons] To enter

The onscreen menu disappears for a moment,

and then the settings are reset to the default

setting for all the picture adjustments.
Press the MENU button when finished

To autotune

Press the MENU button

The ink system failure message has a chance to be fixed or it may be a permanent issue. It can be pointing toward a firmware failure in the printer and if that is the case the following steps should fix it. Press and hold print photo's and the red eye removal buttons then press red eye removal then print photos then red eye removal again. Display should say ?Support? and display the FW rev (something like R0631R) Mine reads R0631M . Press and release the right arrow button until the display says ?System Configuration Menu?. Press and release the ?OK? button. Display should say ?Hardware failure status?. If not there already, Arrow Key over to ?Hardware failure status?, Press and release the ?OK? button. Either it's not getting enough power on the bus or there may be a problem with the unit or something hooked to it. Remove everything but power and leave the unit on. If it powers off by itself then check your voltage, if voltage ok and the leads are not corroded, send it in. If it does not power off hook things up one by one. Leave it on each time. I've seen GPS's not provided with additional power on the seatalk do this. Even though the E-series outputs power on seatalk they made a revision in this concept and now what you to power the gps externally. That may be the only problem you're having or your seatlk bus is internally breaking down.

Solution:

1. Clear the ERROR from the screen: Press and hold the MY CYCLES and BACK buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control will display any recorded errors. Please write down what error codes are shown on your screen in case service is needed. If a MORE icon is displayed on the screen, press MORE to list additional errors. When the EXIT button appears, press EXIT.


2. Remove Power: Follow the onscreen instructions to remove power (unplug unit) and then immediately plug unit back in.


3. Clear Setup Mode: After power is restored, a setup screen that begins with "Congratulations..." will be shown. DO NOT PRESS the OK button shown at the bottom of the screen. Press the START/STOP and POWER buttons simultaneously until the Home Screen is displayed. Your unit is ready to function normally.
