Jabra 46CP Bluetooth Headset w/Motorola V551 Cell Phone

Hello,

I recently came across a Jabra 46CP Bluetooth Headset that my father wasn't using. I have a Motorola V551 cellphone that is bluetooth equipped however I can't seem to get the two item to sync. I couldn't find any manuals online for the 46CP as it seems to be an older model and I wondered if anyone had any ideas. Thanks for any help!

SOURCE: how to sync Motorola S9 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

It is pretty easy, but I wanted my instructions to be detailed, so don't panic.

Press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds until it flashes back and forth between red and blue. Then go to the settings or tools section (depending on your phone) in your phone and select bluetooth and activatre bluetooth. After that select "search" to find your bluetooth headset. When you see Motorola S9 press select it and press "pair". Your phone migh task you to enter a code which will be "0000". That's all.

It's charged. My phone said it was connected. Not connected. I disabled the bluetooth, and tried to "re-find" it. My cell phone can't find it

First you need to pair your bluetooth with your cellphone. Go to your cellphones manual and look on how to pair it with a bluetooth. You would need the passcode for pairing, after that then you connect your bluetooth to your phone. Sometimes it depends also on what kind of cellphone you have. Some older model of cellphones are not compatible with the newer bluetooth. Let me know if this works.

How can I connect jabra bluetooth to my cell phone

Generally speaking, bluetooth connects like this:
1:Turn on the bluetooth device (phone).
2: set phone to search for the bluetooth headset.
3: Turn on the headset
4: when it finds the headset (you may need to try TWICE), enter 0000 to the phone as a basic password. The two should link.
Your headset guide may specify a different password - use that.
The headset may require you to hold down a button to help the search - do what the manual says.
