Question about E-Machines M5305 Notebook
I have a HP Pavillion dv9000, 17".....first user. My pc can no longer bring up sound....not even the computer sounds. when I test the configuration, it is making the sound quite ok, but there is no sound from any application used. The only sound that comes out is a "cracking like" noise. The problem is 2 days old. What can be the problem? How may I go about it?
1.pour a little rubbing alcohol or head cleaner on the speaker plug,and insert & remove it a few times in the speaker input of the

on taskbar click volume control check if sound is muted
3.Remove the sound card in device manager and refresh it or restart
so the drivers can reinstall if this dosent work (it should ) then get
an updated driver
