On both sides of the quick disconnect place your fingers on the "outer collars of it and push in and it should release your water lines by gently pulling them out.

How do I remove the door with water dispenser from my Roper Side by Side Refrigerator

Turn water supply to refrigerator off and get a pan or towels to collect what water that will spill when disconnected. On each end of the quick connect coupling is a ring hold the coupling tight with one hand while pressing the ring towards the center of the coupling and then pull the water line out. When replacing the water line trim the part of the water line off where the ring was before or the line may leak once you reattach the water line. Press ring towards the coupling to remove and simply push the existing line after trimming into coupling and pull tight. The grip inside the coupling will lock the line in place. Need to remove doors from a Shelvador side-by-side fridge to get into house.. How to disconnect water line to door?

Most of the water lines have a quick connect fitting down at the bottom under the unit. Open doors, remove kick plate and follow line back. Should have a connection in that area.

I have a Jenn-air JSD2789GEQ the ice maker was working but now has quit , the water is working but slow and not much preasure

Most likely your inlet valve is bad. To test this disconnect the hoses from the inlet valce. One line is from your home the other two are the ones you disconnect. Test the door water first. After that switch the quick connects that run to the inlet UNPLUG fridge first. Switch connections plug back in and than test water in door again. See how much water is coming out. If plenty of water than in may be in your reservoir or your filter. If low pressure disconnect water line from home and see if you have good pressure If you have good pressure from the house than replace the inlet valve. If you dont than check house water pressure. If you have any questions please feel free to comment me.

How do I hook up the plumbing. Do you have an exploded diagram of the back panel where all the water hook ups are at.

It depends on the refridgerator. Some have two inlet valves. Basically, you have a water line from the home. Usually copper line. You also will have two places for water lines on the opposite side of the inlet valve. Sometimes you may only have one. The line leading from fridge ( if ice and water through door) will hookup to the line where you have the fridge connactor. The quick connects to the inlet valve. The second one will be for ice maker. That water line runs up the back of fridge into freezer. Make sure you place the quick connects in the right spot. Process of elimination because some inlet valves wont let you change the hoses once installed. Connect the main water line from the home. Connect both quick connects dont connect water lines yet. Push the water thru the door botton and see which valve opens on the inlet. Which valve on inlet opened and allowed water to come out. That is for fridge and other is for icemaker.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact.

I bought a new water selinoid Valve, hucked it up and the water does not stop at the door. I'm sure I have the lines screwed up BUT what it the correct way, Got a water line diagram??

The problem may not be the value , look under the front of the fridge remove long cover on bottom, you should see the water line that goes into the freezer door and a connector. Disconnect the water line, should be a quick connect and have a cup ready to check the water line and value, place water line from under fridge into the cup and press the switch on freezer door asking for water if water comes out of the water line then the value is opening and you have a frozen line in the door. Please get back with more info, good luck.

I've moved and when I reconnected my refrigerator the water and ice maker doesn't work. I know there's water to the valve coming out of the floor and I installed a new filter.

Were the doors removed in the move? If so, the electric connection and / or the water line connection for the water dispenser maybe disconnected. Is the filter in correctly? Is there any evidence the refrigerator leaks water? You said you know there is water to the valve, so you disconnected the water line, put the water line in a bucket, turned the water on and you filled the bucket right? You might have a problem with the water valve solenoids for both the ice maker and the water dispenser. Also, check for any kinks in the plastic water lines anywhere.

How to disconnect the water and electrical, and remove the left door of a side by side G E

This should not be very difficult. Unplug refrigerator. Remember that any water remaining in water tank inside the fresh food section will once the line is disconnected at lower left hand hinge area will pour out by gravity once the snap connection is disconnected. Allow the water to flow into a pan until empty. Then unsnap the electrical pin connectors at bottom and top hinge under the cover if present. You may also need to remove the kick plate at base of the refrigerator to be able to reach some of these connections. Most water connections you will need to push the outer ring in to loosen the line. Use care as not to damage the water lines then remove hinge screws being careful to remember location and position of screws washers and plastic hinge covers. If you need more answers please let me know, Thanks Sea Breeze
