I would bet its carb related.I have rebuilt many carbs on all types of mowers blowers tillers ect. The gas out now has ethanol in it and it gums up the carb over time if left in tank and not used for awhile. Not a big deal to fix.Remove carb and disassemble clean out the ports and jets by blowing carb cleaner through them. Good luck

When I am making a cut, the blade will drift to the right making it difficult to make a straight cut. What would be the cure?

It's probably time for a new blade. If you are using a toothless diamond coated blade it can be difficult to see that the diamonds have been rubbed off. It drifts because it cuts more easily on the side of the blade where you have more diamond left. Be sure to use enough water to keep the blade from shedding it's diamonds too soon.

get it put onto a diagnostic computer and it will tell you all.....
as far as fuel consumption is concerned,go online to a website called "superchips"they are wonderfull.

Was loping in drive, would have to put in neutral, now stalling in neutral, at first i thoght it was the fuel injector, not sure

engine runs smooth if giving more than idle pressure. It is when the motor is engaged with transmission at start the engine lopes and wants to cut off. If I press the throttle hard it takes right off. If I come to a stop I can put transmission in neutral to keep it from cutting off. This creates a shifting that is not normal and I'm afraid it is a sign of failure coming.

Engine keeps cutting out, not running smoothly just before it stops, could it be dirt in the carb and if so is it easy to remedy

Could be dirt in the carb - or the float sticking..

Get aome carm cleaner in airasol can..
Take the air filter off..
Start the eng..
Spray carb cleaner into the carb intake in short controlled bursts and not too much to stall the mortor..
Repete several times..
Also - try a new spark plug, clean the air filter..

PLease dont forget to rate well ;o)
