Question about Lexmark Z12 Printer

My Lexmark Z12 Prints in triplicate. The same line

This problem began immediately after I had a paper jamb. When printing once before, I noticed a sheet was beginning to jamb. I thought I'd help it by pulling it through a little. That unjambed it, but then all future printing resulted with the following problem.

My Lexmark Z12 Prints in triplicate. The same line in overlapping offset. The printer prints a line then scrolls only about have a line down then prints the same line again and then again. Printing three times each line offset about half of a line. The results are a blurred triplicate of the same line.

I would troubleshoot with the following steps:
1) Turn off for 5 minutes then power back on
2) Reseat the ink cartridge(s)
3) Uninstall / Reinstall printer from computer.
4) Test print

SOURCE: Lexmark X3350 printing

i just fixed this problem.  first i bought a new (remanufactured 3rd party) cartridge off ebay and found it wasn't working either.

there are cartridge cleaning instructions in the troubleshooting help section that show you how to carefully wipe clean your cartridges.  follow that, it solved my problem.

Take a tissue paper and make it damp with water
Then CLean the bottom part of cartridge where you see some golden contacts , just wipe it off with damp tissue .

Check if there is any ink coming on the tissue or not .
If No ink coming out , may be u forgot to pull out the protective tape or there is no ink inside the cartridge

SOURCE: paper does not feed into lexmark X5470 all in one printer

feeding problems
not take apaper
not feed a paper

hey im tuval from israel,
first of all im sorry about my english :)
and now to the point.......
look, if you know where the feeding wheel its good (like elastic material over this wheel) , now take a"nail cleaner" (aceton)
and clean this wheel (the elastic thing), i did thet and the problem is gone!!!
after the cleanning send 15-20 empty doc to print (remember - empty, dont use you ink - you dont have to - save money), if all the paper is out from the printer,
you fix that.

i hope i help you.

SOURCE: paper jam/ printing problem

I have this printer and when this did it to me like its doing to you the FEEDER had to be replaced. Now you might want to see if all the rollers are rolling and nothing is in the paper path. Also check you paper weight and size and adjust accordenly. A new feeder is like $27 bucks and you would have to go 3rd party to get it. I got mine from a USED lexmark someone was saling off ebay for my fix.

Please be considerate and leave a ratings and postive feedback for your free answer today.

My lexmark printer prints a few lines properly, and then it misses the next few lines, or only partially prints them. How do I correct this problem?

On your inkjet printer, start the Lexmark software,
and run a "print-head-cleaning-cycle", since some (not all)
of the ink-jets that shoot the ink onto the paper are CLOGGED.

Lexmark, paper jams and prints in same place, over+++

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Lexmark z12 printer

Most likely your printer's cartridge settings are incorrect. You possibly have a black and white cartridge in your printer but your computer settings are for a color cartridge. First verify what type of cartridge is in your computer. Then find the printer your are using installed on your computer. If you OS is Microsoft then double click on the Lexmark z12 and click on printer and then properties. Another window will pop up. Click on Cartridge Maintainence and then click on Verify/Change Cartridge. Hope this solves the problem. It worked for me.
