Probably needs the trigger valve rebuilt/replaced. Contact Harbor Freight for replacement parts.

I have already changed trigger valve assembly, O rings and all. Still leaks when I try to fire. Will not shoot brads just leaks lots of air around trigger assembly.

Most likely problem is the head valve orings not making perfect seal. Remove the head and pull out the headvalve piston. Apply plenty of white grease to orings and test fire. If gun fires, will need oring kit soon. Good luck

Air leaking from trigger Bostitch SB1850BN

Most likely the orings or seals in the headvalve are not making perfect seal. Remove the head and pull out the headvalve. Apply plenty of white grease to orings and test again. If the gun fires, then will need oring kit soon, or just keep using plenty of grease. If the gun still does not fire, check that the safety foot is depressing the trigger valve all the way in. Good luck

Leaking air when trigger is depressed

This is an indication of a defective seal. Try adding a little pneumatic oil to the gun and triggering it a few times. Sometimes all it is is a small leak in the o-ring because of a lack of lubrication. If not, then try replacing the o-rings (kit available for around $20). The next possibility is the trigger itself. I have replaced the trigger assembly on mine once thus far.

Good luck,
Dan

My dewalt framing nail gun was hooked to the air compressor, but was not being used when it began leaking air which you could hear and got louder. It sounded like it was leaking around the trigger area....

There are O-ring seals around the trigger that are probably leaking. You can try to lubricate the gun by adding the pneumatic oil to the air supply. That may be enough to seal it back up. Otherwise the seals and/or the trigger assembly will need to be replaced.

Striker/plunger comes down on air nailer as soon as air is applied its a central pneumatic have the parts manual but can not get parts for it

It sounds like the trigger valve is stuck in the open position. Try oiling it and connecting and disconnecting the hose several times. If that won't unstick it, try dismantling the valve and see if you can free it. Be careful -- a nailer with a stuck valve can be dangerous. Central Pneumatic is sold by Harbor Freight and they may be able to get parts for you -- they are decent for parts orders in my experience.

Once trigger is depressed, air leaks and no nail is fired....

Sounds like the trigger o-ring is damaged, either because of not being oiled frequently, or the pneumatic tool has not been used for a while. O-rings will harden up if not used. Look for a place that sells fasteners, or nails and see if they can put a new o-ring in the trigger asm. for you. If you take the gun to a place where you purchase your nails, they should repair for little or no cost. it is an easy repair if you have the tools, parts, etc.
