Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator

The buttons in the last row will not work.

All of a sudden all the buttons in the last right row will not work. If I press any of the (clear through enter) it gives a subtraction sign. I changed the batteries and cleared the RAM but nothing works.

We dont have a manual and we dont know how to change the channel or set the time

To set the clock on the unit, have the TV connected to power but not on. Then press and hold Mem/Clck Adj on the TV (it's the third button from the right in the top row of controls). Use the adjacent Tune/Clk (up/down arrows) to set the clock for 12 or 24 hour time. Then press Mem/Clk Adj again to adjust the hour with the up/down arrows. Press Mem/Clk Adj again and set the minutes. Press Mem/Clk Adj to save the time. The original remote also has these buttons. Mem/Clk Adj is also labeled Set and is the furthest right button on the second to bottom row of the remote. The Tune/Clk buttons are the DN and UP buttons on the left of this row.

Use the Tune/Clk arrows to change the radio channels after pressing the radio button (second from the right on the bottom row). When you press the TV button (first on the right of the bottom row) to watch TV, then you need to use the Channel up/down arrows at the top and bottom of the ring control on the far right of the TV or the Channel + and Channel - buttons on the remote. On the remote, the Channel + button is below the timer button which is below 9 in the keypad section. Enter is below the Channel + button and Channel - is below Enter. Make sure that the TV is in the correct mode for your signal (ATSC for OTA and NTSC for analog cable) by pressing the TV mode button. If you are using a set top box, you will need to change the channels at the box.

Press the TV Menu button and then go down the list to Time to set the time zone for the TV. Press Enter to save the setting. Use the TV Scan button to get a list of available channels before trying to change channels.

i have the same problem on my phone and i was unable to fix it but i could get the clear, up, and left buttons to work by sliding the screen down a tiny bit until the buttons on the screen light up (they are not lit up when the phone is slid out). you won't be able to push the top row of keys, but by sliding the phone slightly down you should be able to use the clear, up, and left keys

I have a Sharp AR250 Copier that got the H5-01 after I had a paper jam 5 times in a row. I found a solution on here to clear the code by pressing P*C*14(start) but the problem I am having now is finding...

Hello.

Yes .. that machine doesn't have a " * ", so press the Interrupt button instead of the " * ".

So it was P interrupt C interrupt 14 start, press execute - on screen. Then, turn the machine OFF and back ON and code should be cleared.

The icon for the interrupt button looks like two horizontal lines with an arrow pointing from right to left between the lines.

Hope this helps.

How do I change the time

Change the time with the original remote on the DVD player. Enter the menu, chose time or system, select the time, whatever is coloured or blinking in the time menu will be changed. Use the up/down buttons or enter the number you want (depends on the model). Don't forget to press enter or go back out of the menu before you shut off the DVD. If I have a model #, I can probably be more precise. Follow the guide that came with the model for best results.

The last row of icons on my iphone won;t work. Help....

The last row of icons which is the bottom row with Phone iPod etc?
It sounds as though your digitizer is bad, the iphone digitizer is delicate and seems often goes bad.
does your unlock screen work?
the bottom off the screen handles the unlock and bottom icons.
if your unlock switch works then you may just have a software problem going on.
reboot your phone by pressing and holding the power and home buttons until the apple appears.
when it reboots see if it works properly, if not you may have a bad digitizer.
is your iphone a 2G or a 3G?
