When a computer first boots up the video card send a request to the monitor to find on what resolutions the monitor supports. If the video does not get a response the card will default to very low resolutions. The only way to avoid this problem is to boot your computers one at time and keep the KVM on the computer until it fully boots to a desktop. This will allow the KVM to pass the monitor information to the computer.

Hello, sounds Like the Furnace is tuning off due to the limit switch or rollout switch opening. A limit switch and rollout switch are safety swtiches that will turn off the furnace if it gets to hot or the burners flames are abnormal. Usually a weak blower motor, dirty blower wheel , dirty burners or even a crack in the heat exchanger can cause this problem. Best bet is to call a hvac technician and have them check it out.

I want my player to play dvd while driving how do i bypass to make this possible

  • 1st you will need to purchase a 12 volt or above Momentary Push Button/(Toggle)switch (about $5 Radio Shack)
  • 2 2nd Using the Diagonal Pliers adjust the length of the Radio's Emergency Brake Wire to your desire. Make sure you have enough wire so you can mount it where you can easily access it like beneath your steering wheel/ on the Dash Board.
  • 3 3rd Connect one end to the emergency brake wire from the radio and then connect the other wire from the switch to a ground to your car. You can use the same ground connection that you used for the radio and it will be fine. Make sure you wrap up the wires using the Electrical Tape to prevent shorts.
  • 4 4th (Using Button Switch) When you are ready to use the DVD player insert DVD and after a few seconds the screen will turn blue and the message to "Set the emergency brake" will come on. Now just press the button (4x Times)for one second and release it. On The fourth time the screen takes about 6 second to display the video.
  • 5 5th (Using Toggle Switch) When you are ready to use the DVD player insert DVD and after a few seconds the screen will turn blue and the message to "Set the emergency brake" will come on. Now just flip the swtich on and off (4x Times). On The fourth time the screen takes about 6 second to display the video.

    Hi..

Most laptop PCs include external video outputs, primarily VGA (Video Graphics Array), with an increasing number of devices offering DVI (Digital Visual Interface), or HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) support.

When your laptop PC's built-in display isn't working properly, you can quickly and easily determine if the problem relates to the built-in graphics circuitry or to the display itself by plugging in an external monitor. If the external monitor lights up and things work as they should, the built-in display is at fault. If the external monitor also fails to work, it's likely that your laptop PC graphics circuitry has failed. Because this can involve replacing a standalone graphics module or the system board inside the laptop, depending on the make and model of your computer, you need to perform a cost-benefit analysis on making repairs or replacing your laptop PC.

    Good luck !!!

    TC1100 does not turn on!

Check the wall outlet to be sure it is providing power. Use a lamp or a fan or other electrical device to be sure that outlet provides power. Check the power surge supression strip, and ensure it is switched on if it has a switch, and it it has a fuse reset button, push that in or push it to the reset position. Recheck the connection of the wall connector cable to the small DC converter box. Finally recheck the connection of the end of the power cable where it connects to the PC. If the Tablet still does not show a green light indicator on the front, try removing the battery. The TC1100 works with the battery completely removed. If you have power but no display, then the problem could be with the display. I suggest that since there are a lot of problems with the older tablet PCs, that if you still have problems with it and do not really need that type, check out the new low priced Atom processor netbooks and the new moderately priced Intel Core2 Duo notebook PCs and AMD dual core and tri-core notebook PCs, with plenty of RAM like 2GB or more, and preferably dedicated video RAM, like an NVideo or ATI video that provides 64MB or 128MB or 256 MB or 512MB or more of dedicated video memory. Back to your TC, ensure it has good power, then look to possible bigger issues that power or power adapter - the CPU or board could be bad, or it may boot up but not display because of a problem with video on board or in the connector to the screen or in the screen circuitry.

HP dv1000 monitor just stopped working.

Description During the startup or boot process of the notebook, the display is very dim and barely readable. It remains dim when it reaches the Windows desktop. Restart the notebook with AC power Perform the following steps to determine if the dim display is due to a hardware failure:
    1. Connect the AC adapter to the notebook and a working electrical outlet.
    2. Power down the notebook PC by pressing and holding the Power button for 5 seconds.
    3. Press the Power button again to start the computer.
If the display is still dim after restarting with the AC adapter connected try changing the LCD brightness. Change the LCD brightness From the Windows desktop, hold the Fn key and press the F7 and F8 keys to increase or decrease the brightness of the display. If using the function keys does not resolve the problem, determine whether the Lid Actuator switch is stuck. NOTE: The key number may vary depending on the notebook PC. The image on the key should resemble the following images: Figure 1: Brightness Level Down c00776225.jpg Figure 2: Brightness Level Up c00776226.jpg NOTE: During battery power operation, the notebook display will dim to reserve battery power. Adjust brightness control using the control panel Some notebook PCs have the ability to adjust the brightness through video drivers. If the notebook PC has video drivers with this capability, perform the following steps:
    1. Click Start , Control Panel and then double click Display .
    2. Select the Settings tab and click Advanced .
    3. If the feature is available, a tab with the video card name will be present. If it is, select that tab.
    4. Adjust the desired brightness.
Finding the Lid Actuator switch The Lid Actuator switch is a small button or switch located above the keyboard and LEDs on the right or left side of the notebook. It may also be located near the display hinges. Pressing this switch when the computer is on may turn the notebook display off or cause the notebook to enter a different power state. Press the switch 2-3 times while observing the display. If the display is no longer dim the switch may need to be repaired. Contact HP service and support for further assistance. Contact HP service and support If the display remains dim after the troubleshooting in this document it may be possible that the backlight is damaged.
