Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
If the motor can run, check the fuses in the house's panel. Electric dryers run on two phases of the 220-240 volts outlet; the motor on one phase, the heating coil on both phases. One of the two fuses may be burned out.
REMOVE the fuses before touching any component inside the dryer's housing.
If the fuses are OK, check if the the switch resting on the motor itself, has not burned terminal or wires.
Check if the heating coil is opened (burned)
