Mitsubishi WD-62525 BLUE SCREEN NO PICTURE NO SOUND

My Mitsubishi WD-62525 just stopped working, it has no sound and a blue screen with lighter cloudy blue lines through the center, when I use the device menu to try to switch it to a component it will come up and when I change to another component the screen goes a back dark green with white dots. I am not sure if it is the lamp or what it could be, please help!

I had the same problem and I found that it was 2 caps on the power supply board. I had both caps replaced and it worked perfect. While it is apart see if any other caps are bad( if they are puffed up in the center they are bad).

It sounds like the Chassis needs to be sent to Mitsubishi for refurbishing. The Boards are not available and have not been for quite a while.
I recommend you to call Mitsubishi at 1800-332-2119 to see if they would help you in the cost of repairs due to the costly nature of them. They would also refer a Service Facility
near you to do the work. I would estimate a repair cost of 300.00 or so if they help with the repair cost. If they don't, I estimate a cost of 700.00 to 800.00.
I hope this helps,

No picture or sound mitsubishi 62525

Capacitor failure is the most likely scenario the FMT ans Signal PWB would cause the picture interference and the power pwb would cause the lamp light to turn red and give a 34 code when the device/ input and menu buttons are pressed in together and held for five seconds. That chassis has issues with every board in the chassis having failed capacitors you can get repair kits for the V26 chassis at the follwing link that come with instructions. Your model is the V26 chassis. Heres the link.

Somehow you have your inputs not on... but don't get ahead of ourselves. Check the cables in back... The video cable in... make sure it is fully connected from cable box / satellite box to input, then make sure the input is on where it is plugged in.
