DC35 should work on both regular power (15 minutes runtime, or 13 minutes with the motorised head attached), and Boost mode (6 minutes runtime). If your machine won't work at all on Boost mode, we'd appreciate the opportunity to take you though some quick diagnostic checks when your machine is fully charged and near to hand. If a replacement part is needed, we can also confirm if this is covered under our 2-year guarantee.

Try check the connection. The connection is located on the edge of the pole, looking like 2 spikes inside a plastic housing. If it won't work if it's wet....
