We have just moved from the uk and have brought our ps2 games with us, unforunately they will not play on the ps2 I have bought for my daughter in America.

Hi Helena,

The NTSC , I think NTSC stands for National Trade Security Commission, either way they implemented Region locks. You need to get on Ebay and buy you a PS2 that is NTSC-PAL to play your UK Games. The one you bought here in America is a NTSC-U/C. Same thing goes for all DVD players in the world.
