All you need to do is just go to the website www.r4ds.com and download the latest firmware and put it on your R4. you might wanna make a game folder on the R4 and put the games you want in there.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

R4 card getting stuck at "loading"

it is probably because your sister has a different version of R4. They are the same things, but your sister might have an earlier version than you do. This is because, some versions dont work with some ds lites while others do.

Ds games stuck on loading

When you see the "Loading..." screen it typically means you either:

1. Have a fake card, or
2. Haven't installed the software correctly.

Check out NintendoDSCards.com's R4 Setup Guide for how to set up your card correctly in case you have a real card, that should be OK.

Otherwise, I recommend grabbing a Real R4 Card from dscardworld.com

Good luck!

R4 Problem loading error

Get this file extract the file with winrar, and copy the files to the DS card. The file structure should have is:
Files
  • _DS_MENU.DAT
  • _DS_MSHL.NDS
Folders
  • _system_
  • moonshl
You should now put your .nds files onto the root of the card also, and hopefully all should work OK for you

NDS R4

Im not 100% sure about this...I own a R4 myself. What I do notice if you use the wrong type of SD Card(Anything above 2GB) or use it in the wrong type of R4(SDHC Kernel in a Non-SDHC Card) It tends to get stuck at that loading screen.

Sometimes you can remedy this by taking the R4 out and the sd card out and using a air can or blowing on the parts in between(inside the DS, Inside the R4) and try it and it will sometimes fix that. Also a corrupted transfer of the kernel or a bad kernel can do that too.

Hope this helps.

Btw here are a few Kernel Links:
R4DS(Non-SDHC): www.r4ds.cn
R4DS(SDHC): www.r4ds.us

Hope this helps

New R4 card never loads

You should check if the R4 card is actually R4 SDHC, because the firmware of R4DS is not compatible with it. If it is SDHC, go to this website http://rs320.rapidshare.com/files/140174805/English-1.21.zip to download the firmware for your card. If there are any roms on it, you should save them somewhere else, for you have to format the card first (do this in windows by going to 'this computer', then right-clicking on the SD card from your R4 and then select 'format'. Warning! Never select 'quick format'! This could do damage). Now your card is completely empty. Copy the files you just downloaded and unzipped to the card (5 files; _system_, moonshl, _DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MENU.INI and _DS_MSHL.NDS). Now put the SD card in the R4 and it should work properly :) I had the same problem, and I have just solved it *grin*. I hope this was useful.
