My computer stopped recognizing My Book 320Gb. The blue light is out. When I connect it to a different USB port, the blue light blinks three times and repeats that pattern two more times. Then the light goes out. All of the data on MyBook can't be accessed now.

Do you hear the motor on the drive?It could be a firmware issue.your best bet is to call western digital if you are still under warranty,there website should have software which will enable you to test the drive or download any available firmware.
