I have a Panasonic DP 2310, everything starts and goes to ready. I press start and the display blinks, almost like a power recycle and it says copying but nothing happens, no errors.

Any ideas?

there is a short on the board under the start button some where , its quite possible that the solder on the button has come loose and you mite need to solder it again
