If you are meaning the DC24, like your post seems to be tied to, the manual can be found here:
https://www.dyson.co.uk/medialibrary/Files/Dyson/Support/downloads/UK/floorcare/Manuals/DC24_Manual.pdf and the pictures for removing the canister and triggering the lower empty-hatch are on page 3 under 'Clear Bin Emptying'.

Good Luck!

    I didn't ask for DC24, I asked for HVC22

very well Anonymous. Please help out here with a clear statement of what your vacuum is. Dyson doesn't make a model HVC-22, or at least Dyson doesn't think they do. If the part of your question saying 'Dyson Ball DC24' is not referring to the vacuum cleaner you need information on, then I'll give you some gentle feedback that including that phrase in your question is confusing for us folks who are trying to help.

I've seen online references to HVC-220 vacuums from Durabrand, Hoover, and others. Can you start with who makes your vacuum? If there is a plate on it somewhere with a serial or model number, can you put up the full information on that so that we can all be sure that we're helping you with the vacuum that you own? (or if it is a Dyson, likewise, any additional info off the system, since, as I said, Dyson doesn't list an HVC-22 as a product)

Where can I go toget a owner's manual and parts for a dyson HWC-22

Hi Terry,

You can download user guides for our machines from our website - please visit www.dyson.com and click 'Support', then select your machine from the list. You can also order genuine Dyson spare parts for your machine directly from our online store.

Please note, HWC-22 is not a Dyson model number. Our vacuum cleaners are given model numbers beginning DC--, followed by two numbers. You'll be able to find this printed prominently on your machine.

I hope this helps - if you'd like any further assistance or advice, please give our customer Helpline a call on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1-866-693-9766 (US).

Best wishes,

Jack

Hello there, the Delonghi FK 22 filter kit has apparently been discontinued by the manufacturer. Although i was able to trace a retailer who seems to have it in stock, here is the link. Although apparently the FK 4 and FK 8 and FK 6 filters could also be managed since the FK 22 is not readily available. Here are nlinks to help with them.

Carbon motor brush source?

unfortunatly the only way you could purchase the carbon brushes is from a vacuum parts dealer directly. the brushes will most likely end up costing you close toth price of a new motor anyway. sometimes its best to just get a new motor as the newer designes rotate teh brush much faster for better cleaning.

Durabrand HVC-22

You can purchase items on Ebay cheap for these items and you can look on line and sometimes you can find a free download of a manual.

HOW TO EMPTY

One of 2 ways, some you just take the top off, it will have a paper bag that you can toss and put in a clean and empty one. The other is the bottom is actually a bucket that unhooks so you can empty it. Hope this helps.
