Try to format the card in the camera. Afterwards, try taking pictures again.

When you have removed all the pictures on the card next time, format the card. this will clear out all the pesky little bits that haven't been erased yet. This should speed up the card again.

I only have 7 pictures on here. I've tried taking the memory card out but still get the message that the memory is full. Don't know what else to do. Help

Check whether the sd card has the 'lock' switched on. Its a physical slide button on the side of the sd card which may sometimes cause this error. Thumb me up if I helped. :)

If the camera says the internal memory is full and won't allow me to take any more pictures, do I need to get a new card reader?

Your camera has only 32MB of internal memory, out of which only 13.5MB only is used for picture storage, which allows you to save only a few pictures. If you need to shoot more pictures you need to buy SD or SDHC cards or micro SD cards. If you buy micro SD card, then you also need to buy an SD adapter. SD adapte is very cheap, usually less than a dollar. The maximum size SD card you can use in Kodak Z915 is 32GB SDHC card. SD card sizes are available only upto 2GB. SDHC cards goes from 4GB to 32GB. Again these cards are rated based on their speed classes. It is preferable to buy Speed class 6 and above for good video recording. With higher speed class, speed increases. If you want to shoot pictures faster then you need higher speed class memory. Price of the card increases with the speed class. You can buy speed class 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10.

If you want to download your camera manual, try the following site:

Kodak easyshare m360 says memory full after 3 photos i just bought the camera, what i shell do < shell i buy memory card or usb for it ?

You need to switch the camera over to saving pictures directly onto the SD card.
  • Menu
  • Cam settings
  • Chose AUTO or SD card option
  • Press OK to SD card
Note: If the SD card isn't in the camera or is unreadable the camera will automatically go back to saving you taken pictures on the internal memory.

If you experience problems:
The lever on your SD card might be turned the wrong way so the SD card is reading protective.
Please turn the lever and try again.

The SD card might not be supported by the model: Your camera Memory card support is SD/MMC up to 2 Gigabyte and SDHC up to 8 Gigabyte

The SD card might not be faulty, try another card, since the camera could give you a message like the one you're experiencing.
Try with a different SD card that is supported by the camera.

Once you have set the settings to save onto the SD card directly you might like to transferre your existing pictures from the internal memory onto the SD card:

Question :
How do I transfer pictures from the internal memory of my KODAK Digital Camera to a memory card? Answer :

    Pictures are pink with lines

The camera is a wonderful Kodak product and takes beautiful 8.5 Megapixel photographs. When you save the pictures to an SD card, you must at some point remove them digitally from the card.
Either by linking it to the USB cable and going from there to your PC, OR by removing the SD card from the camera and inserting it into an SD card slot in your computer, printer, or card reader. Occasionally the card readers such as the ones in your PC, printer, or card reader devices do not connect properly and will only transfer part of the data, resulting in pink ugly lined photographs. This problem can be fixed by using the USB cable instead of the built in card readers in your other devices.

    Kodak M853 error message

My first inclination was that maybe the lock on the side of the SD card was on but after you mentioned that it worked in your mom's camera, I don't think that's the case. You may want to check that though. There's a little switch on the side and just make sure that it's switched to the "unlock" side.

The only other thing would be to format the memory card. When you do that, you will lose all the pictures on it. So, if it happens to work in ***********'s camera, I would transfer the pictures you already have saved on there and copy them to a cd before formatting the memory card.

In order to format your memory card, press the menu button, then go into the setup menu. There should be a list of settings. Scroll down to the format option and choose to format the memory card.

    I hope this helps :)

I believe the picture size you're using is not the maximum of M853 which is 8MP, otherwise you can take fewer pictures - like for 4 or 5, depending on the scene complexity.

Your camera has 16 MB internal memory. The lower MP you use (menu> picture size), the more pictures you can store.

If you want to take more pictures, use a memory card. the cam is SDHC ready - been tested to work up to 4gb. may even work with 8gb.
