HP Ipaq 4155 not recognizing battery

I have an HP Ipaq 4155 and after a major battery drain I thought the battery was dead. I orderd a replacement battery, installed it, and charged it for the required amount of time turned it on and instantly got the "battery low" message. I charged it again and received the same error. I found my old cradle and took the battery out and charged just the battery and it charged fully. Installed the battery in the ipaq and still received the "battery low" message even though I know that the battery is indeed charged.

So, to summarize, here is the issue:

My Ipaq is not recognizing its battery at all and "thinks" it is always on system battery. My ipaq also may not be charging batteries but I can't say for certain because it doesn't see the battery.

Things I have tried without success of resolving the issue:
Manually charging just the battery in a cradle.
Resetting the Ipaq.
Reinstalling the latest bios.

Re: HP Ipaq 4155 not recognizing battery

Try taking out battery and plug in power. If it works, battery is faulty. If not,
Try taking out your hard disk plug in power, if it works, hard disk is faulty. If not,
Try taking out memory card, if there's a sound, memory card faulty. If no sound, it's your motherboard that is causing the error.

Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.

Hp wireless keyboard not working

These keyboards only seem to work with a certain type of battery. I found the best results with a plain ALKALINE battery. I'm specifically using an Energizer, but I would guess most any Alkaline would work.

My original battery went dead after 6 months, and I replaced with a rechargeable Nickel-metal hydride (NiMh). My keyboard started behaving sluggish less than 24 hours later. I thought there was no way it was the battery, because these are the batteries that last forever in a digital camera (when Alkaline's get drained in about 1 hour in a digital camera). I tried ever fix possible, even blaming it on a new wireless router I had put in. I changed the router's wireless channels, removed cordless phones, and about everything else.

Finally I put another set of rechargeable batteries in, and everything worked great for about another 24 hours. I then decided to go back to a plain Alkaline battery, and all has been well for over a week now.

I'm sure that's not the issue for everyone, but maybe it will help some. So many of the batteries today are made for digital devices, and we had to look specifically for the Alkaline, making sure not to get a NiMh or Lithium Ion battery.

Inspiron 1525 battery doesn't completely charge and a/c adapter not reconized. My laptop is only two months old so I called dell and they said I needed another battery and motherboard. I can't do wothout...

Update your power supply driver. There are some problem about dells power supply system. It also cant recognize the battery. If this cant solve the problem, advise you buy a new laptop battery replacement . Dont buy dell expensive OEM battery, see something in revive dead laptop battery in or you can cheap replacement there.

Good luck.

Internet connection problems with my imate jam.

depending on how you connect to the internet, you will have to go to settings, then connections, if that is where the connections are located and select 3G GSM as the connection to the internet. You may also have to clear the history of pages visited and any temporary files in the settings also as you may have corrupt cookies stopping you from connecting.

Using TomTom nevigator

For use with TTN you'll need the following: -A GPS mouse (either wired or wireless if you have bluetooth on your ipaq) -TomTom software -Memory card (usually Secure Digital of Compact Flash) to store the differents maps on it. It's also recommended to have a card reader on your pc to transfer the maps on the expansion card. Good luck and let me know if it works out or not
