Question about Bernina Bernette Deco 600
Just got my used Bernina deco 650 from the shop. It was making loud noise after stitch and showing that the needle was bent. Company said I needed new motor which was not the case. Technician found thread cutter binding so he reinstalled rotary hook and thread cutter. Now tension seems off. Bobbin thread is running out quickly and shows through embroidery. Does the top tension number need to be higher or lower? Or is it related to the thread cutter again?
Pshawver is correct, I have 40 years experience working on sewing machines

The tensions are not calibrated properly. To get by, or if you do not want to take it back to the shop, just lower the upper tension a little at a time until it looks ok.
