Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
My sons slimline ps2 was dropped (not really hard) and now the video does not work. To be honest we set it up on a friends TV and thats when the problem was discovered. Could it be possible that the unit is fine and its the friends TV that is the issue? what are the other possibilities?
Or try opening it up and do it your self. Look and see if anything is out of place or broken. The slot were the AV cable go's in could be broken. And while it is open give a a good clean with rubbing alcohol. That could also be doing something. If that does not work then get service. That is probably the only thing you can do

I dont think that it might be a problem with your friends tv but still try to connect it to your tv , if the problem is not solve then it might be happened that it's internal system got shok due to dropping it . You shoud contact the nearest sony service station and they will repair it as it may be a hardware problem
