Question about Olympus DS-4000 Digital Voice Recorder
Ran Registry Easy on a cluttered XP to tidy it up. Printer and Olympus foot pedal became non-existent apparently.
Printer solved by following suggestion (My computer/manage/Services & Applications/Services/Printer spooler .. changed to automatic from being disabled)
I can't find a solution for the 'missing' foot pedal. The software on the pc screen runs the audio files just fine - lets them stop, start, fast forward and fast reverse ok. But the foot pedal does not do anything- no response at all. It does not seem to be connected, although it is still in the same USB port as before.
Any pointers much appreciated.
