Sure your remote has frozen? you can check if it is still working, by pointing it to a digital camera (camera in a phone is fine) Then press one or a few buttons on the remote and look on the mnitor screen of the camera if you see a light flickering.
If you see a light, the remote is still working.
If some buttons don't work anymore, check if somebody poured in some soda or coffee. If so, you could try cleaning it. but the best thing to do is buy a new remote. Read how manny questions are here about "universal" remote controllers and all their problems and you might decide to buy the original.

Don't forget to replace batteries so now and then.

Sony ebook Reader is Frozen, Not charging

The Sony Reader used a special type of display; the LCD can retain an image without having power. It takes power while changing the pages. In most of the cases, if the power is fully discharged, the LCD will keep the last image that was displayed it makes an impression that the Reader is frozen. However, the Actual thing is, the screen retains the last image on the screen and there is no power to change the pages. These type of situations can be resolved by charging the Reader sufficiently.
Each step in my solution is a possible resolution. Hence I suggest thatyou perform each step and check the operation.
  1. Charge the battery fully by connecting to a computer or by using a compatible AC Adaptor. It may take a few minutes (up to 15 minutes) to displaythe charging symbol if the Reader is fully drained in its last use.
  2. Once the reader is charged fully (at least 45 minutes), slide the power button to turn ON.
  3. Perform a softreset. We can perform a soft reset by pressing the reset button on the Reader.
  4. After the RESET button has been pressed, slide the POWER switch to activate the Reader device again. If the Indicator light nextto the power button on the Reader device is yellow, the unit is attempting to start up. If this is the case, allow it a few moments to complete startup.
  5. If the Reader is still not charging up properly, connect the Reader to computer or AC Adaptorand then press the reset button.
  6. Disconnect the Reader device from the computer (if applicable) and then slide the POWER switch to activate the Readerdevice. Check if the Indicator light next to the powerswitch on the Reader device is yellow (indicating it is turning on) and if the unit is responding.
If the unit isstill frozen, connect it again to the computer or AC adapter and while connected, check if the Indicator light next to the power switch on the Reader device is red. If this light is red , allow the Reader device tocharge for one hour sothere is sufficient charge for troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, perform a hard reset to resolve the issue. Please follow the steps to perform a hard reset:

Under certain circumstances, moisture condensation can occur. Moisture condensation can becaused by moving the Reader device between temperature extremes or if theReader device has come in direct contact with moisture. If you suspect moistureas the cause, allow the Reader device to sit for a few hours before attempting to turn it back on.

How to get back to settings on frozen samsung tablet

Tablet should have a "reset" button on top or side. Small hole. You need an object that would fit--it will take it back to factory specs. Make sure tablet is fully charged--or plugged in first. Worked for me.

How do you charge your wii console

The Nintendo Wii is an innovative video game system and much like other video game systems within the Wii's generation, the controllers are all wireless. Because of the wireless technology, the controls must function on batteries in order to operate. Instead of having the game pause in the middle of the action, there are plenty of methods you can test to make sure your Wii remotes are fully charged.

instructions:
1
  • Charge you're the batteries to your Wii remote by opening the back clip and pulling out both AA batteries. If the batteries are the standard set that came with the Wii, you should upgrade them to rechargeable batteries to save time, money, and garbage waste.

  • 2

Let the batteries charge for as long as the charger says. In most cases a full charge could take 6 to 12 hours, but fast chargers can fully charge batteries for an hour. Check the charger's manual detailed times.

  • 3

Use a Wii Charging station for easier charging access. These stations avoid the process of opening and closing the Wii remote every time you need to charge the batteries and they work as a Wii remote stand as well.

  • 4

Place the batteries back into the Wii remote once the charging has completed. With both the charging stations and rechargeable batteries, lights should indicate when the charging has completed.

  • 5

Power up the Wii and press any button on the Wii Remote in order to turn it on and connect with the Wii.

  • 6

Press the "Home" button the Wii Remote control. This button is in the center of the controller and features a small picture of a house on it. A pop-up menu will appear over the screen.

  • 7

Look at the menu and find your controller number. Right next to the assigned number is a remote battery meter. It will feature 1 through 3 bars to indicate battery level. If it has 3 bars, then the Wii remote is fully charged and ready for use. If it has any less bars then the remote can be used, but is not fully charged. If the battery meter is in red, the remote will shut off soon because there is not enough battery power.

My amazon kindle screen is frozen on the right hand upper corner. The rest of the screen is still fine and works but that corner is frozen.

Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. Plug your kindle into the wall charger, a yellow light will light up. When the yellow light turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Then try turning on your device. If the device still does not turn on, hold the power switch for 15 seconds, this will reboot the device.
