how do i lock the keypad with a security code

why do the phone number of a person shows up instead of their name when they are calling although i have their name saved on my phone

Setup the keypad lock by going into the settings
Settings
Phone
Security Settings
Phone and Sim
Autolock Period
Lock Code (11111 for new phones)
Set Autolock Period

You want to lock the keypad, right? I think I missunderstood what you were asking, which I believe is "how do I get my phone to lock the keypad after a set amount of time and then unlock it with a combination keypress like top left 'selection' button + *". The bad news is you can't. You have to download one of the keylock apps on the internet. Download a free one. Nokia does not put the app on the their phones so they can charge you money.
