I have seen this happen when there is a flow problem with the propane. Dont rely on the tank gauge.

SOURCE: hayward h250ed1 heater wont stay lit

Try cleaning your filter if dirty there will not be enough flow to llet heater fire. If filters clean you can try jumping the pressure switch.

SOURCE: H Series Pool & Spa Heater 400k Btu Propane Gas Milivolt Ignition H400p1: how do i fix the AO code on my hayward heater?...

AO will apply to your blower, blower tubing, or blower vacuum switch. You need to check these items.

SOURCE: My hayward h400ed2 heater starts for 2-3 seconds

Have you installed anything in your home that uses gas? Alot of times it due to low gas pressure.

When you checked the orfices did you actually remove them? or just stick a paperclip inside and clean them?

If the heater is firing ..even for 2-3 seconds the ignightor is fine. If it wasnt it wouldnt lite, period... bad call on hayward

How to replace a Hayward H150 thermocouple?

since your question refers to two heaters 250000btu and h150, the best i can offer is the owners manual that covers both. there is no thermocouple on either but there is a manual thermostat, high limit sensors, thermostat etc. this manual will show where and how to change all of that

H150 heater shows 1f

IF is ignition failure. Verify that you have a good Ignitor and that your gas supply is adequate to fire the unit. I rarely see the internal gas valve fail on any Hayward unit. Be careful if you have to put your hand in there. The electric circuit on the smaller heaters is not typically 24VAC, it is usually 120VAC in the U.S.

I can't light our pilot light - Hayward H150

I dont thnk you have a pilot light on this model ... I think it is lit by a electronic device that glows.

Remove the front cover and look up into the burner area. Turn the heater on. Can you see a red glow?

Can an H150PI pool heater be converted from propane to natural gas

On this heater, the conversion may be a kit that replaces all the orifices. In any case if you call Hayward technical support they should be able to provide the correct solution. I hope this helps.

I have a gas leak

If the valve "in the heater" you are talking about is the main gas valve, check the regulator, which should be before the main gas valve.

WONT FIRE UP Hayward h150 Pool heater

Is the thermocouple in the pilot flame? It has to sense the flame and provide a signal to light. or, is it a flame sensor? Same thing, must be sensing the pilot flame. This is the first step for it to light...
