Yahoo allows you to reset your username and password using an alternate email address.

Simply go to the yahoo! sign on page and click the link as shown here:
my yahoo account has been deactivated - moz-screenshot.jpg3b45338.jpg

and follow their instructions to get your password emailed to you at an alternate address.

Hope this is helpful.

All you can do is deactivate your account. If you want to, you can delete ALL your pictures status' and posts. Once deactivated it will disappear over time. However if you try to open another account with the same email addy it will reactivate the aforementioned account.

How can i get my old facebook back

When a FB account is deactivated then removed there is no way to retrieve the data. When deactivating an account you are given the opportunity to download the contents of the account before deactivating it but once an account is gone, it is gone.

Login to gmailnebrlady1@gmail.com

Transfer Email to a Different Server

Each of the free-email providers has its own server on which to store the emails in its system. Gmail from Google, Hotmail from Microsoft, Yahoo! mail from Yahoo! and the rest all run their own servers, and one account from one server cannot go into another from a different server.

So if you've switched from Yahoo! to Gmail and want to get all the emails stored in the Yahoo! server over to the Google server, you have to transfer that email data.

Luckily, since the services are free, transferring the email is also free.
Log into your email account in the server that you are looking to transfer to.

So if you are transferring from Yahoo! to Gmail, log into your Gmail account.
Click on the "Settings" or "Option" button for your email address and then click the "Accounts" or "Accounts and Imports" button to look at the accounts.

Click on the "Import from another account" or "Add account" buttons and then type in the log-in information for the account that you want to transfer the emails from.
In the example given, you are transferring from Yahoo! to Gmail so you will need to type in your Yahoo! log-in information.

Wait for the server to transfer all of the contacts and email from the old server (Yahoo!) to the new server (Gmail).

Get My Yahoo Mail Moved to My Gmail Account

Nearly everyone has multiple email accounts for different purposes, and occasionally you may need to transmit information from one account to another.

Gmail makes it easy to import data from other Internet email providers via the TrueSwitch email migration service.

You can use TrueSwitch to migrate all of your Yahoo email data without even leaving the Gmail program window.

Navigate to the Gmail website and log in to your Gmail account.
Click the "Tools" icon in the upper right corner of the program window and click "Mail settings" in the drop-down menu.

Click the "Accounts and Import" tab in the settings window.
Click the "Import mail and contacts" button to start the mail import wizard.

Type your Yahoo email account address in the text field and click the "Continue" button.
Type your Yahoo email account password in the text field and click the "Continue" button.

Check the box next to each type of data that you want to import from your Yahoo email account. You can choose to import contacts, mail, and new mail that you receive within 30 days.
You can also specify a label that you want attached to all imported mail. Click the "Start Import" button.

The TrueSwitch service will begin importing the desired data.
It may take between several hours and two days for all of your data to be imported from your Yahoo account.

My account has been deactivated I need it restored

Recovering or reactivating a deleted Yahoo account
To reactivate your account
  1. On a desktop or laptop computer, visit the Yahoo Sign In page.
  2. Enter your Yahoo ID and password.
  3. Confirm your Yahoo ID and complete the CAPTCHA verification.
  4. Select Reactivate at the bottom of the page.
If successful, the reactivation can take up to 24 hours. Keep in mind that some account data may be lost and not recoverable.
While it may be possible to recover certain deleted or inactive Yahoo Mail accounts, recovery isnot possible if:
  • The account was deactivated due to a violation of the Terms of Service.
  • The account was deleted due to inactivity (you must sign-in at least once every 12 months).

If the above options don't explain why your account was deactivated, there's a chance that a third party deleted it. Just to be safe, we recommend changing your password to secure your account. Check out our Yahoo Security Center for more information about online security.

Additional Information
You can upgrade to a Yahoo Mail Plus or Yahoo Mail Premium Mailbox account to protect your account from dormancy in the future.
Note: Yahoo Mail Plus is not available in all regions.

All of my Drafts folder was emptied, and I did NOT delete any of them, and there were some important data...where are they?

Try searching for a particular 'keyword' in the Yahoo Mail Search Bar. It may well have been 'archived' accidentally rather than deleted. Archiving stores email in a non-descript folder which minimizes mailbox usage (MB)

My old yahoo mail had a saved mail and i can't find it any more

Hi,

Yahoo reserves the right to deactivate email accounts as well as delete the contents after being inactive for a period of 4 months. Once deactivated, data is lost. You can reactivate it but can never retrieve back the old emails.

What is a computer

A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information or "data." It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. You can use a computer to type documents, send email, and surf the Internet. You can also use it to handle spreadsheets, accounting, database management, presentations, games, and more.

Whether you realize it or not, computers play an important role in our lives. When you withdraw cash from an ATM, scan groceries at the store, or use a calculator, you're using a type of computer.

Hi Dear: I have lost all my in box e-mails and it shows 0 items it was about 300 e-mails from few years ago till now and it is very important to me to have them back.Is there any ways of getting my mails...

Hi Nader, Unfortunately, Yahoo and many other free email programs on-line, will delete your account (deactivate it) if you have not used it for a a few months to years. I suspect this is what happened to your emails. There is no way to retrieve emails once an account has been deactivated and reactivated.

To avoid this problem in the future, I recommend downloading and using a free email software such as Thunderbird or incredimail to gather your emails. You will then have a back-up copy on your computer.
