I went to turn on the TV this morning and nothing. Changed power cord to various working outlets, still nothing. Is there some type of circuit breaker or switch in the TV that could trip and cut power until reset.
Thanks
Your problem is most likely the thermistor , or degausser, is going bad. It is a little black box with pins and says D1R5M on it. It can be found by following the wire from the degaussing coil around the picture tube. The location number is CF803( i think)the Panasonic partnumber is D4DF1R50001. Also, I believe your fuse is 6.3A not 3.6A.
What does the fuse look like? and where exactly is it located?? please help!
Had the same problem. Was working and then nothing. Took the back off and found a fuse blown next to the power cord. I replaced it and it came back on. Its a 3.6a fuse.
Same thing happened to me today. I think the peace of shit is designed to stop working after 4 years so that people keep on buying new TVs. Don't know what I am going to buy now. All this junk in made in China now. I have to fucking pay someone to get Panasonic CT-36SL13 36" out of my house. It weighs about 235 lbs.

Same thing happened to me - 4 years old and fuse popped. I am replacing with a 6 or 8 amp time delay / slo-blo fuse that is less prone to blowing.
Fuse keeps blowing about once a month replaced with a 6amp any suggestions? TV is 4 yrs old.
Have the same problem for about 5 -6 months already, I keep replacing the fuse on an avg once a month. I'm sick and tired of this.
But the original fuse I had was not 3.6A, I think it was something like 5.6, which I could not find anywhere, so I'm using a 6A. I'm going to contact Panasonic tomorrow about this nonsense.
