Question about Lexmark X5470 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I purchased my first replacement cartridge Lexmark #24 for my Lexmark X3430 at a local Staples store. When I insert it, the printer does not recognize it and repeatedly generates the error "Cartridge incorrect". I have completed the trouble shooting instructions many times with the same results. Lexmark replaced the cartridge insuring me that it was the correct model. The new cartridge from Lexmark also says "Cartridge incorrect". The original cartridge is different than those found in the purchased and replacement cartridge which both have a "notch" cut out of the mold on the top. Is there any kind of fix for this? I can supply a photo of the differences.
Load new firmware from Lexmark web site for x3430 or it won't accept the new cartridge.
