Question about RCA TH1602 MP3 Player
My mp3 player is stuck at the mp3player screen after I press start. I tried pressing all the keys, but it won't do anything. Anyways to solve it?
One time I replaced my battery and my unit would not go any further
than the Pearl logo. So, I downloaded the firmware upgrade
from http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2243/related/1, and followed all the troubleshooting instructions that popup when you start the program:
start the program,
remove the battery,
hold the play button while plugging into usb,
release the play button the the term "initalizing" replaces "searching",
check the box that says "format data" (you can try it first without this checked, it may work and will save your music),
click the start button to replace the firmware.
After I did this, my pearl started normally, and my computer recognized it again. It also fixed my aac-error problem.
