- sorry but i have an N router and an N wifi card, actually i figured out my problem. My comp was trying to run 2 different programs accessing the card. One was the wifi program on it and the other was the d-link wifi connectorSolution #1

I had a very similar problem with my Netgear, I assume your Netgear is 802.11n standard router and your wifi card is probably integrated which means it only supports b and g standard. The only solution is either to buy a 802.11n compatible wifi card or to kick the speed of the rounter down to b & g compatible more.
