Although it's a very very old question, there must be many that wish to do this themselves. So here is a video that shows how on the XK-3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyxglQ2lVFU

Switch off the power of the XK-1.
2. Hold the [REC/JUMP] Button, and switch on the power.
3. Continue to hold down / Keep pressing the [REC/JUMP] Button until "Loading Default..."
appears on the Display.
4. After 5 seconds if everything is in order, PLAY Mode appears on the Display. (Completed)
You might try the ORGANFORUM.com as there are a lot of organ players there and quite a few with Hammonds. Finding an original copy is probably out of the question, but a duplication probably can be found.
Ooften there is a setting for the pitch. Set it to A at 440 Hz which is usual standard. HOWEVER make sure it is really a pitch difference as the ear can be fooled by the "hammond" type sounds.
Lubricate with OFFICIAL Hammond oil immediately! Then let sit for a couple weeks. Manually turn the generator and add lube as needed until free. If bearings still sticky, put a bit of CRC226 on them individually and free them, then lube with the hammond oil via the wicks.
CRC226 is available at Home Depot in electrical dept.
