Question about Canon PowerShot A560 Digital Camera

A560 cannon camera, I want the date to appear while printing.

I am having problem setting the date in my A560 cannon camera, any advise for that please. I want the date to appear while taking/printing photos, i used this feature before too but now there seems to be a problem and date does not show up any more.

To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

you can only print dates on photos when your camera is set on post "card" (compact) mode...try it

The PostCard size mode will not be available in the Digital Macro, Stitch Assist, or any of the Movie shooting modes. (See the last couple of pages of the manual for mode compatibility.)

Press the self-timer button to cycle through self-timer settings. The rectangle indicates normal shooting, the clock indicates self-timer. Depending on the shooting mode, you may also see overlapped rectangles for continuous shooting.

To change the delay time, select [Self-timer] from the Recording menu.

The self-timer button is the same as the down-arrow on the circular multi-selector, marked with a clock.

How do I get date and time stamp to display on picture with the A560 Cannon Camera


This function can only be set in Postcard mode- Press Func., scroll down to the bottom, then across to the mountains with clock icon, then set. Now press menu, scroll down to date, and set date or date and time, then menu again.

Can the date be put on the photo by the camera. Is that available on the Canon Power Shot A560?


it should ,if you go in the menu set up and date and time section you must be able to do it

What is the proper sequence in setting up self Timer I lost my instruction book. I never used timer in the past; I have a cannon power shot A560. I go to menu and scroll to timer set 10 sec and 2 shots....


First you press the self timer button. Then press the shutter button to start the timer.

Cannon a560 dital camera


Click on "Start Menu" (lower left corner of your computer screen). Select "Control Panel", then double click on "Display". When the display control panel opens, click on the "Settings" tab. You can now select and set a Screen Resolution for your computer's monitor of at least 1024 x 768 pixels.
