We are running both of our Day / Night air conditioning units at 80 degrees. I noticed that the furnace was also running in the downstairs unit. Cool air seems to be blowing into the house from both units. Why is the furnace running with HOT air running in the ducting?
Thanks,
R. Thomas

- Hello old fart58,
Yes the thermostat controls both the air conditioning units and furnace units. any other ideas?
Strange. Does the thermostat control both the air conditioning units and the furnace. If not make sure the furnace thermostat is turned down to below 65 degrees.

- Sorry, I don't have much more on that one. Best choice is to call in a good serviceman to search what is wrong. Hopefully one of the furrnace/airconditioning guru's might catch this thread and offer their expert knowledge.
