Question about Skagen 233SSS Wrist Watch
Around 2-3 months after purchasing my beautiful watch I noticed the strap had changed from it's rose gold colour to a rather nasty brassy colour. I sent it to a distibuter recommened on the warranty. The strapped was replaced with another (with a nick in it) and with in a couple of months it had started changing colour again. I do not wear perfumes, skin creams etc. I do not use chemical cleaning products.
Have questioned several distributors who are very vague and say things like 'it may be your sweat'. Hmm. Don't do much of that either.
I don't wear it every day as I have 2 other Skagen watches but this is a favourite. Any ideas. Can the brassy colour be cleaned off? It is on the outside not the side touching the wrist. The inside is still rose coloured.??? Thanks, Helen
This answer may sound odd but it happens, Everyone exerts different energy. Skagen bands are usually very tolerant of that but something in the band is having an effect from your skin. which is unlikely but very common in other watches. I believe they use copper in the mix for the rose gold bands, you may want to request a silver or gold band next time.. unfortunately the copper does not react well with your skin.
