For me, the whole needle assembly has fallen off (the metal thing it goes into, with the perpendicular cylinder and knob sticking out the side of it). What's worse, a small, curved piece of metal fell off too, and I have no idea where it's supposed to go!

- Sorry for the confusion--I'm still getting used to the interface of this site. I read another post and clicked something like, "I have a similar problem," which made me think my post would be grouped with that original post. (In fact, I didn't know that this actually got posted, because when I logged in I was taken to a "how much do you want to pay for fixya?" page, so I left. Weird.)
I would find and link to that other post I was replying to, except I gave more details than their simple post, so there's really no need to. The point is that the needle holder won't stay attached to the metal cylinder that it used to happily stay attached to.
I *did* discover where the small curved piece of metal (a thread guide) is supposed to go: it sticks into the whole needle holder assembly that won't stay in.
That would be the thread guide. You need a small allen wrench to put this whole thing back on. There is a hole in the right side, looks like a hole, it's blackish, but is for allen wrench. The curved metal piece slides up into a tiny hole from the bottom near where needle enters then slide whole thing back on machine and tighten with allen wrench.
