Start with alcohol, which works well. Do not rub, or you'll spread the mark. Simply take a clean, white cloth and moisten it with alcohol. Then, blot the lipstick stain, which will disappear. Another home remedy is dishwashing detergent such as Sunlight and Dawn, both formulated to fight grease. For this method of lipstick stain removal, dab on a little detergent, let it set for about 10 minutes, and then gently begin working on the stain from the outside edges inward.

How to remove melted hazelnut spread from 2/way stretch trousers.

Hello, Yvonne -

I have no idea how your question on removing a chocolate stain from fabric landed in the category of Cell Phones.

That being said, you may find the chocolate stain removal instruction here helpful:
https://www.cleanipedia.com/gb/laundry/how-to-remove-chocolate-stains-from-clothes

You will see instructions for washable and non-washable fabric.

Personal opinion, for washable material which has no silk or wool in its composition, I like Oxiclean products:

Best wishes.

Black ink spill to my pants,.how can i remove the ink?so that i can still use my pants..

Hi from FixYa,

Sorry but this forum is to assist people in diagnosing problems and faults in washing machines rather than how to remove stains from clothes. Have a look at the label to see if that might help- and it depends on the colour of the pants. Otherwise I fear that the pants may have to be consigned to the bin ;-0(

Why does some lipstick stay on better when sipping out of a glass than others?

Ever since the idea of tinting the lips as a cosmetic enhancement came into fashion (a practice which has been fashionable for over 6,000 years) women have been looking for ways to make the effects last longer. The use of berries and fruits to stain the lips gave way to cosmetic preparations using wax and whale blubber, and even more complex chemical preparations. Each of these has been intended to make the lip color last longer.
The basic formulas of today's lipsticks are the same. Emollient ingredients are combined with a waxy base and dyes to provide tint to the lips. In most cases, the lipstick sits on the surface of the lips and is gradually rubbed off by the friction against glassware, eating utensils or kissing and other actions.
Depending on the ratio of the ingredients we can find lipsticks that resist wear and last longer, this either comes as a result of ingredients that act as sealants on the lips, or else act as stains and literally dye the lips a darker color to create a lasting effect.
Today, we see newer and exciting formulas promising 8, 10 and 12-hour wear from lipstick applications. We have promises of lipsticks that won't rub off, and won't lose their shine. These lip colors can vary widely in prices, and the results may not be to your liking. If this is the case, here are some simple tips to make your lip color last longer, whatever the brand:
• Use a base coat of foundation makeup on your lips before applying your lip color. This not only helps you to get a clearer, more vivid color result from the lipstick, but in cases where you won't have to eat or drink, can result in longer lasting color.
• In situations where you know you will be eating and drinking (such as a dinner date or cocktail party) apply your lipstick and blot it, then use a clear lip gloss or petroleum jelly as a topcoat in order to act as a buffer between your lip color and the surface of the glassware or tableware.
• After applying your lip color, use a translucent face powder on your lips to set the product. This will create a matte finish to the lips, so it will counteract the effect of "glossy" lip color, but it will help your lip color to last through a lot of wear

I washed some very dirty baseball pants on Whitest whites, with bleach and Tide detergent. Not only are the pants still "tan" from the dirt but all the other whites are also "tan." I ran them through a...

Try this: Soak the stained clothes in a solution of 1 quart of warm water, 1 teaspoon of liquid dish detergent and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar for 15 minutes. Then, rinse with water.
If this doesn't get everything out, then wash in warm water (or what the fabrics allow) using a color safe bleach and detergent.

The problem is that there was more dirt than what your detergent could handle. If you have a really dirty clothes item in the future, get as much of the dirt off using a vacuum or by soaking alone as you can. Then wash the item in warm water with detergent and color safe bleach.

Yellow stains after machine washing

Sounds like rust stains, coming off the inside of the drum, you will need to find the source of the rust. Maybe a loose screw or something metal stuck inside the drum. Carefully run your hand around the inside of the drum and check for rough jagged edges to identify anything that should not be in there.

My Frigidaire Washer Leaves Stains all over our clothes

Since this happened from day 1, your water may be the problem. Do you have well water? If so, get a softener system. This will get rid of the iron, which is responsible for rust stains. I really doubt that a new machine would cause rust or grease.

Why didn't you do something five years ago when you first noticed this? It will be much more difficult to get a resolution from the manufacturer after5 years.

Round stains on clothing

This is from not enough HOT loads.

Fatty deposits gather between the basket and tub during COLD washes.

Then they are being released in large numbers when you do your whites on HOT.

It is recommended to do 1 HOT load per week.

Do an empty load with some degreaser added (like Goo-Gone) on the fullest/hottest setting you have.

A pair of yellow cotton pants absorbed color from a blue item that was in the wash. How do you remove the stain from the pants?

Did you dry them in the dryer? if you did then the stain is set, and it wont come out.

If they where line dried or ? Start by washing them again, with the hottest setting they can take, using detergent. It may just wash out.

If not Rit dye has a colorant remover available, try that.

Good Luck.

How can I get permanent black ink out of a white pair of pants?

Try spraying with hair spray or another spray product that won't stain. You are not using the product. The propellant is a good solvent. Hair spray and Lysol are my favorites as they don't seem to stain. RIT dye color remover may also work. If it is a large area your are probably out of luck.
