Problem for Palm Tungsten E2 (Multilingual) Handheld

My palm tungsten e2 registration is off. ABC & 123 don't initiate

My palm tungsten e2 registration is off. I've gone through the Touchscreen a few times but it is still so far off that the ABC and 123 function cannot be initiated. It is acting like the registration is so far off that I cannot touch low enough to activate it. I touch bout a half a MM below the Time or Brightness symbol & they activate also.

How do I fix this?
