'temp knob does not work', but you don't say in what way, but some help here. Google will normally find any issue

Very hard to acquire parts... just replace it as this is quicker and easier.

besides the cartridge, the small brass screw/valve and its seat can cause this leak

It has been a while since I have worked on a Grohe, But if it has a built in scald gaurd or thermo cartridge, it may be sticking and need to be replaced.

norm cover levers off go round cover at four points

call grohe and have them send you the hole unit hose and all they warranty it it for life it is obvious there is a slite crack in the head base, they will send it for free

there should be a flat head screw on the mixing valve turn the water on and turn it to the desired temp,, it is letting to much cold water in , if this does not work replace the mising valve

grohe is a faucet all by itself ,,, I would recomend to have you call there repair dept. and explain this to them, you said you put in the new cartridge and thats about all there is to it, when you put on the handle make sure it is not over tightened, sometimes it pulls on the cartridge and makes it come on by itself good luck
