Whirlpool Washer, 7 cycle, heavyduty extra large capacity. The machine fills up with water but does not shut off and continues to fill which results in flooding. Whirlpool, model number LXR 7144EQ1. Bought the washer in 1998 from Lowes. Serial #CH4629633. Thanks, Corky
The water level is controlled by a pressure switch that is located behind the load level selector knob in the operator console. The pressure switch has electrical connections and an air hose that runs to the bottom of the wash tub. In many cases the air hose comes loose from the pressure switch. The following link explains:

what do i need / how do I convert my Whirlpool Dryer Model GGW9868KQ2 Ser MP2001904 from propane to natural gas, apparently this dryer was utilizing propane at prior house location and I picked it up second hand and was told that it requires a conversion so it can be used at my house with natural gas
