Question about HP Pavilion dv2500t Notebook
I have my cousin from dubai send me here in the philippines her laptop hp pavilion dv2500 notebook pc. but when i open it it displays 105-unsupported wireless broadband device detected. system halted. remove device and restart.
what should i do? TIA

The user has not described the operating system in use.
However this problem generally occurs due to incompartible hardware. in this case it is ever stated. ie. Network interface Device. I suggest you disconnect the Network devices including cables, then try to reboot.
If not descibe how far the booting process gets and type of network hardware connected and operating system to your system

Have you recently tried to update to windows 7 or vista. The wireless device in this laptop is an older Broadcom wireless device and will not work newer Windows versions well at all. Even in windows XP you have to update the driver. It is available here.
